Head smashed a brilliant Test century, scoring 140 off 141 balls, an innings studded with 17 fours and 4 sixes.
However, Siraj had the last laugh as he rattled Head’s stumps with a deadly yorker, pulling all his intensity and aggression out. Standing close to Head after the dismissal and delivered a fiery send-off. Head, also not one to back down, responded with a few words of his own.
And then what it came is the Adelaide crowd erupted in support of their local hero, giving Travis Head a thunderous round of applause as he walked off the field. Meanwhile, Siraj faced boos from the crowd for his animated send-off, adding to the drama of an already heated contest.

Apart from cricket fans who witnessed the Adelaide crowd going after Mohammed Siraj, Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar also expressed his views on the incident. He felt it was expected. “Well, if you have given the local favorite a send-off after he scored a hundred, you are naturally going to get something back,” Gavaskar said during commentary.
